March Tournament to be announced…
We’ll be throwing down in a fan favourite game that HAS NOT been featured in a PNP Games Tournament before.
Details will be revealed here next Friday, Feb 15th.

Tournaments will now be happening with more regularity, alternating between locations.
Entry fees are typically $10 ($5 for XP Members)
*We apologize that the semi-promoted NHL 13 Tournament didn’t end up happening. We will rectify this in the near future.
Casual Persona 4 Arena Launch Tournament August 7th!
Join us this Tuesday at our Portage location for a casual Persona 4 Arena release tournament! Thinking about picking up a copy for yourself and want to test it out? Curious how some of your favorite characters from Persona 3 and 4 might transfer to the fighting game genre? There’s no better time to find out!
The tournament will be in a double elimination format with any other details announced before the start of the event, assuming that there are enough players registered by 2:00pm.
**Be aware, as this is a casual tournament, there is no entry fee but we will not be offering prizes for winners.**

Controller: DualShock 3s provided, bring your own pads and sticks
Entry Fee: $10 per game, $15 for both
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Rules:
Tournament Format: Double Elimination
Game Settings: Versus mode
Games: Best 2/3
Round Time: 99 sec.
- All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are permitted
- Normal and Simple mode are both permitted
- All characters are permitted during tournament games
- You may not use the same character twice on one team
- Winner of the previous round in a set must keep the same characters, team order and assists they used
Soul Calibur V Rules:
Tournament Format: Double Elimination
Games: Best 2/3 matches, Best of 5 Rounds
Round Time: 99 sec.
Character Swapping: Loser may change
Stage Selection: Stages will be Randomized

- Edge Master
- Kilik
- Elysium
- Created Characters

Street Fighter X Tekken Tournament March 17th
Join us on March 17th at 1:00pm and throw down in the newest crossover fighter, Street Fighter x Tekken!
Format: Double Elimination, Best 2 of 3 Matches, 99 second time limit
Console: US PlayStation 3 Console
Controller Types: Dualshock 3 controllers provided (Bring your own sticks and pads)
Character Bans: PS3 Exclusive Characters are currently banned
Date: March 17th (sign-up at noon, event begins at 1pm)
Entry Fee: $10
***Gems are completely banned***
Prizes:
-The W bracket finalist will receive $50 in PNP store credit.
-The L bracket finalist will receive $40 in PNP store credit.
-The overall tournament winner will receive an additional $10 in PNP store credit.

Soul Calibur V Tournament February 18th
Date: Saturday, February 18th
Time: 1:00pm (Registration begins at noon)
Location: PNP Games Portage
Console: Sony PlayStation 3
Format: Double Elimination, best two of three matches, best of five rounds
Entry Fee: $5.00
As of this point there are no character bans aside for custom characters however we realize that Dampierre is a pre-order bonus. So, if he cannot be obtained through means other than a game pre-order, he will most likely be banned. Stay tuned for more on that as the game launch comes closer.

UMvC3 Midnight Launch / Tourney Info! [Updated]
Update: The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament date and game have changed. Please see the full NEW details below.
We will be launching Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Tuesday, November 15th at midnight and hosting an ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 tournament on Saturday, November 26th beginning at 1pm.
Pads and Sticks allowed.

Taking place on the Nintendo 64 console we’ll be hosting a Round Robin Tournament consisting of 3 events, and a secret 4th event for our finalists.
